Took the family to visit at my buddy Ben’s hunting ground, and it has a wonderful view of the river basin off in the distance. Made a couple huge mistakes flying my drone, both in the same flight, both ignoring battery status (the drone forced a landing, then as recovery was starting, my iPad ran dead)
Jim’s drone began searching the area where the drone was known to be last, flying a grid back and forth, and eventually discovered it. But, Ben and I didn’t have radios so Jim just hovered over the downed drone. Ben quickly spotted that Jims drone wasn’t flying back and forth anymore, and made his way over to where it was hovering. Looked around and saw nothing, but looked up, and there was my drone, it was hung up in a tree above!
