Took a visit out to Sherman to find our pond nearly frozen over!! The temperature had recently been down to a low of 12!
Christmas 2017 was quite enjoyable, from out tree and fireplace, to going to to visit mom and dad in Houston. Dad and I played a game of chess, and it only took 44 years for me to finally beat him.
Welp, I had a great time with Jim and Vern this year, but I goose-egg’d, and just didn’t have good luck. No harvest in 2017. But I did kill 3 coyotes, which Larry was quite pleased with.

We celebrated our 3 year anniversary at Pappadeaux’s, and the next day we spent some time at our shooting range at Sherman.
My tractor guy came out, and dug open the dam and installed 2 more 18″ pipes, upping the drainage relief from 32 to a total of 68 inches.
